A research report about rePAPER’s recyclability was published in Nordic Pulp & Paper Research Journal
(SCI level)in March, 2017.

Verification of rePAPER’s recyclability at a domestic paper manufacturer : The dissociation rate reached over 98% after 20 ~ 40 min. of repulping at 40℃ and the pulp was entirely used for recycled-paper manufacturing.
→ Recyclability proven.

* Though 40 min. shows the highest dissociation rate, 20 minutes of repulping seems to be enough.

• Its strength is similar to B grade of DLK. (DLK A grade: 5.3kgf↑/70gf↑, DLK B grade: 5.0kgf↑/67gf↑)
Conclusion It took less time to repulp the scrap paper of rePAPER’s products and the yield was shown to be much better compared to conventional DLK. Furthermore, acrylate-based coatings left no residuals after additional treatment. Hence, it seems possible to use the recycled pulp as raw material.
